Author Guidelines
Everything you need to know before submitting to ASJSR.
The American Scholarly Journal for Scientific Research (ASJSR) welcomes original research papers and scholarly blog posts from students, emerging researchers, and early-career academics across all scientific disciplines. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your work.
1. Who Can Submit
- —Undergraduate and postgraduate students
- —PhD scholars and doctoral candidates
- —Early-career researchers and junior faculty
- —Independent researchers from any country
Submissions are accepted from all scientific, social science, and interdisciplinary domains. There is no submission fee.
2. Research Paper Requirements
File & Format
- • Microsoft Word format only (.docx or .doc)
- • Maximum file size: 20 MB
- • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
- • Line spacing: 1.5 or double
- • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
Length & Structure
- • Recommended length: 3,000 – 8,000 words
- • Abstract: 150 – 300 words
- • Keywords: 4 – 8 terms
- • References: APA or MLA format
- • Tables and figures must be labelled

- Title Page (title, all authors, affiliations)
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Literature Review
- Methodology
- Results & Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
3. Blog Post Requirements
- —Recommended length: 800 – 2,500 words
- —Submit content in HTML format using standard tags (<p>, <h2>, <ul>, <a>)
- —Scripts, iframes, and embedded third-party content are not permitted
- —Cover image is optional but strongly recommended (JPEG or PNG, minimum 1200×675px for 16:9)
- —A short author bio may be included and will appear at the bottom of the post
4. Originality & Ethics Policy
Originality
All submitted work must be original and must not be under review at another journal simultaneously. Previously published work will not be accepted.
Plagiarism
All submissions are screened for plagiarism. A similarity index of more than 15% may result in desk rejection. Proper citations are mandatory for all referenced material.
Author Responsibility
All listed authors must have made a genuine intellectual contribution to the work. The submitting author confirms that all co-authors have approved the submission.
5. Review Process

Submission Confirmation
You will receive an automated confirmation email immediately upon submission.

Editorial Desk Review
The editorial team checks the submission for completeness, scope, and formatting compliance within 5–7 working days.

Peer Review
Qualifying papers are sent to subject-matter reviewers. The review process typically takes 3–6 weeks. ASJSR follows a double-blind review process.

Decision & Publication
Authors are notified of the editorial decision by email. Accepted papers are published promptly and assigned a permanent URL.
6. Copyright & Open Access
ASJSR is a fully open-access journal. Authors retain copyright of their work and grant ASJSR a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, and archive the content. All published work is made freely available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
